The training activities are conducted in-house or in educational institutions in Indonesia.

Sarpatim makes every effort to provide a healthy and safe working environment, to promote teamwork and harmonious employee relationships. In the Bai Base Camp medical facilities are made available to all personnel with doctor services 24 hours a day.

At Sarpatim camps, employees are provided with housing, schools up to junior high for children, as well as religious and recreational facilities.

Sarpatim has created jobs for and now employs about 1,300 people and is in the process of creating more jobs.
